Default Ladder Bar Question

We noticed this last weekend that the ladder bar on the passinger side of my 94 S-10 is bent a little bit on the bottom bar. They are Chassic Engineering ladder bars and the bars measure 1". I'm looking to change them out for the Pro Ladder Bar set that Quarter Max sells. I'd like to get some thoughts on these or any other good ladder bars out there. It runs 5.62 at 126mph, 1/8 mile. Thanks!

I like the design of the Quarter Max Ladder Bars. I feel you can't go wrong with them. But Chassis Engineering makes a new Outlaw style Ladder Bar that has a nice design to it also and is built much beefier than the old style.

Thanks for the reply Dan. I've got the Quarter Max Ladder Bars ordered and hopefully be here today. I was taking some dimensions form under the truck last night and it looks like who ever had the tape measure in their hand when this was put in didn't know how to read it. Thanks again Dan for you input, you to Steve! I'll let you know how it goes!

How many passes on those bars and what is the weight and 60ft? I have the same bars on my car with over 750 passes in the last three years, they are still perfect.

I usually only have mid 1.4x 60's at 3300lbs. Has a bunch of low 1.3x's on juice.

I'm not sure how many passes we have on them, they've been under the truck for about six years. Just one bottom bar was just barely bent on one side. Truck weighs 3000# and does a 1.30 60ft. The first two years I had it, we would run two days a week with 275hp on a plate. After that we been running once a month with any where from 300hp to 350hp. The truck normally goes straight down the track every pass. That day at track the last two passes it pick the tires up and went left pretty good. Got back to the pits and grawled under and noticed the one bar. I dont know if it was bent enough to do that or not. Got the new one's on but haven't made a hit on them yet.
